A word from our President

 

We are scraping the mud off our boots here at HAT, and getting geared up to kick off our show season!

 

Our first show will be held April 18th in Denison TX at the Loy Lake Arena.  We hope you can make it!

 

We will also have our Scholarship Benefit Garage Sale March 20th. You still have time to donate items for sale, and we also welcome offers of help to get the garage sale items organized!  If you would like to give of your time to help HAT with this project, please call (903) 465-4514, we will be most appreciative!

 

Be sure to look in the upcoming events section, lots of new things coming up!

New Date for April HAT Show

 

A new date for the HAT’s first show of the year has been set.  This show will now be held on Sunday, April 18th (a day later than was originally planned) at Loy Lake Arena in Denison.  The starting time has also changed to 10am (registration opens at 9).

 

A showbill for this event is included in this issue.

 

As a reminder, HAT shows are recognized by the Alternative Competition or Open Competition programs offered by the AHA (Arabian), APHA (Paint), and ApHC (Appaloosa) organizations.  The Show Secretary will certify results and endorse request forms from participants wishing to submit their event placings for credit (for more information about these programs, please contact the appropriate organization).

 

 

 

Reminder: HAT Garage Sale March 20th

 

It’s coming up fast - the HAT “Clean Out the House and Barn” Garage Sale is planned for Saturday, March 20th from 8:30am to 5pm at the Lucky G Ranch in Denison.  All proceeds from the sale will benefit the HAT Scholarship Fund.

 

In addition to the sale items, there will be refreshments available, and you can even bring your horses out and take them for a ride in the Lucky G’s arena (see the ad on page 3 of this issue for details).

 

There’s still time for you to get your donations in for this sale.  We are looking for just about anything that we can sell – clothing, furniture, household goods, tack and equipment, toys, and so forth.  Items may be brought by the Lucky G anytime up to the day of the sale.  If you have items but are unable to bring them by, we can also arrange to come by and pick them up from you.  Give the Lucky G a call at (903) 465-4514 to get the ball rolling.
