The meeting on March 3rd was called to order at 7:15 PM.  There were no new members or guests present.

Minutes from February’s meeting were approved as read by Sandra Shiver.  The Treasurer’s report was given by Jenni Dougan.

Proceeds from the Mare & Foal Clinic was reported by Jenni with 66 guests in attendance.  A copy of a list of attendees was obtained from the extension office with the idea of doing a random feedback survey of those who were present.

Sandra Shiver gave the Scholarship Committee Report noting the extension of the deadline for applications to April 29, 2005.  Jenni Dougan will contact Trudy White as to why the application form does not download from the web site.  Advertising was also discussed with Jenni to follow up.  The Selection Committee will meet on Tuesday, May 3, 2005.  Selection committee members are Gerry Snipes, Sandy Holcomb, and Sandra Shiver.

Sally Thomason was unable to attend, but the show items included the Dougan’s collecting items from Debby Van Nurden for the concession stand.  There are still opportunities open on the volunteer sign up sheets.
