Meeting Minutes

There
was not a formal meeting January 4th as HAT hosted a Mare and Foal
Clinic in conjunction with the Grayson County Extension office.
Angus
Pit Stop provided our dinner and the speakers included Dr. Katie Hayes DVM and
Dr. Buddy Faries DVM.
After
dinner, Dr Buddy Faries gave a very informative and
enlightening presentation covering many aspects of horse ownership and care.
Dr. Katie Hayes then followed with a discussion caring for pregnant mares,
newborn foals, and also mare breeding management.
The
January issue of HAT Chat was
also handed out after the presentations for distribution to the local
community.
The
next regular HAT meeting will be on February 1st.
