Who We Are Horseman's Association of Texoma (HAT) is a not-for-profit, all-breed group of horse enthusiasts in the Lake Texoma area of north Texas and southern Oklahoma. Our members have interests in a wide variety of horse breeds, disciplines, and activities.

Who is he? Just ask a HAT member!
Teaching the next generation... At HAT, we feel there is no better way to show our love of horses than to share it with children. In 2003, we began a new Youth Program to give our young friends more opportunities to experience the wonder and joy that comes from being with horses. At the heart of this program is the HAT Youth Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a Texoma-area high school graduate.

As
stated in our by-laws, HAT's purposes are to promote good horsemanship,
fellowship, and sportsmanship between horse owners. We also work to
promote the growth and ongoing development of the equine industry in the
Texoma region.
HAT's
open shows provide opportunities for riders of every skill level to
compete, regardless of whether they are a green beginner or a seasoned
show veteran.
HAT
has been instrumental in the efforts to bring world-class clinicians to
the Texoma area. In 2002, with our support, a renowned Classical
Dressage instructor accepted an invitation to conduct a clinic here.
The event was so successful that he now makes visits to Texoma a regular
part of his busy schedule.
