A no-kill rescue and sanctuary farm located in Blue Ridge, TX. Works to rescue starved, abused, neglected, old, injured, sick, and unwanted horses, donkeys and mules of all sizes and breeds. Always looking for volunteers to help care for the horses on the farm.

Originally two separate equine rescue groups, HfH and LSER merged in February 2005 to form a single organization to focus on rescue, foster care, adoption, and other services throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana.

Equine rescue organization headquartered in Bridgeport, TX. Works to provide support, foster care, and adoption/placement services for abused, abandoned, and unwanted horses, both locally and nationwide. Volunteers and donations always welcomed.

Grace Lake Ministries is a God-Centered Therapeutic Riding program located in Anna, TX. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit program and a member of NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association). Their mission is to facilitate the development of wholeness in people of various abilities through instruction and building partnerships with horses.
 

Hannah's Horseshoes of Hope (HHH) is a riding therapy program serving the Red River region including Grayson, Lamar, Fannin and surrounding counties in Texas and Southern Oklahoma. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit program and a member of NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association). Their purpose and vision is to provide the opportunity for persons with disabilities to experience the therapeutic benefits and enjoyment provided by horseback riding.

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is responsible for the control, protection, and management of the wild horse and burro populations on government-managed lands, primarily in 10 western states. The BLM Wild Horse and Burro Program periodically removes excess horses and burros and makes them available for the public to adopt.

Stolen Horse International (SHI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping horse owners track down and recover their stolen horses and horse-related equipment. In addition to financial support from sponsors and donations, SHI also offers a variety of products for purchase through their website to help horse owners discourage thieves and to assist in the recovery process, such as microchip kits and property signs.
